This
1968 Pontiac GTO belongs to Columbus Police officer Robert Barrett. "The
GTO is widely considered to be the first "Muscle Car" and has a great history,
both on and off the track. The 1968 GTO was the MOTORTREND Car of the Year in
1968, and still enjoys it's place in the hearts of car enthusiasts everywhere.
My GTO is powered by a Pontiac 400 bigblock from 1974, with a Holley Carb and
a Hurst dual-gate transmission. I recently purchased a 1968 Pontiac 400
High-Output block, and am in the process of building a new engine to drop into
the GOAT. I look forward to meeting other club members at the cruise-ins and
car shows around the state.", - Rob. |
